Young Dancer Summer Camps
Portland School of Ballet’s Young Dancer Camps are fun, week-long camps where students ages 5-7 can let their creativity run wild. Each camp will include a daily ballet class, story, snack break, craft time and creative movement.
Over the Rainbow Camp
June 23-27 ($196), Monday through Friday from 9:30-11:30am.
Join Portland School of Ballet as we delve into the enchanting realm of storytelling through colors. Dancers will investigate some of the ways color can evoke moods, set scenes, and inspire movement. We’ll explore how the timeless land of Oz uses colors to tell its classic tale. Through crafts, storytelling and imaginative exercises, dancers will discover how using the colors of the rainbow can create a magical world all of their own.
Night at the Museum Camp
July 21-25 ($196), Monday through Friday from 9:30-11:30am.
Join Portland School of Ballet for a week-long playful and imaginative experience where museum exhibits come alive. Dancers will explore the wonders of the world with creative crafts and great moments in history through engaging stories, returning always to dance where every step tells a story and every gesture paints a picture.
